Read before your next round of Pyramid Solitaire

Make Pyramid Solitaire your next activity in the game library. Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Pyramid, stock and waste; one stock recycle. Free solo play, no wagering.

Practice with a purpose

Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Refer to the controls when needed.

The challenge in front of you

Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Notice how the game responds to your input.

The order of play

  1. Only uncovered cards are selectable. Pairs total 13; a king removes alone.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Making selections and moves

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. A new-round button replaces the current round.

See how the rules apply

An exposed queen pairs with an ace; a jack pairs with a 2. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Verify the rule before continuing.

One detail worth checking

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart.
